Real estate photography · Comporta · Melides · Carvalhal
Beach cabanas, herdades, and coastal houses across Comporta, Melides, and Carvalhal — the quiet architecture that defines this market.
Comporta & coastal Alentejo
Comporta, Melides, and Carvalhal have a language of their own: wood, thatch, lime, bare feet in the sand. The beach architecture hides between pine forest and rice fields, and the coastal Alentejo light is low and clean. We photograph that restraint as it is — no excess, true to the material and the space.
From cabanas and holiday homes to herdades and new-build projects, this is a luxury market sold on atmosphere. That's exactly what atmospheric photography does: convey the place before it lists the rooms. Travel available from Sintra, with shoots planned around the best light of the day.

Herdades & beach houses
Edited interiors, exteriors in the golden hour, and drone over pine and dune — the context that lets a herdade or a Comporta house breathe. Listing film available for the top properties.
Where we shoot
Comporta, Pego, and Carvalhal. Wood, thatch, and lime photographed as they are — atmosphere before description.
Melides and the coastal Alentejo interior. Aerial views over pine, rice fields, and dune to place the property.
Holiday homes and retreats, shot for the booking platforms with the same care as the sales sessions.
Comporta is a niche market with almost no image competition to match — and that's exactly where atmospheric photography weighs most. Travel available from Sintra, with shoots planned around the best coastal light. Volume terms for portfolios and projects.
Light & logistics
Beyond the Lens (BTL Studio) travels to Comporta from Sintra. The light on the Alentejo coast is low and clean, but in summer midday bleaches the timber and the lime — we shoot early and late, and keep dusk for the main house, with the pool and the porch lit. The pine forest and the rice fields enter the frame whenever they place the property.
Drone: the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve and dune protection call for care and, at some points, authorisation. We confirm flight feasibility before proposing it; over the pine forest and the rice fields the aerial view is normally possible and is what sets an estate apart in the listing.
Logistics: we group shoots by day so that travel weighs little — two or three houses in one trip is the usual format for agencies and managers. Travel on quote; volume terms for portfolios. Delivery as a rule within the week of the shoot.
Projects
