Beyond the Lens (BTL Studio) photographs holiday rentals in Sintra, Ericeira, Cascais, Lisbon and Comporta — and runs one, Villa Tamar, in Azenhas do Mar. We know first-hand what a gallery does to occupancy: the first image decides the click, the next five decide the booking, and the rest confirm the house is what it promises.
So we shoot for the platform, not just the album. Dusk with the pool and the façade lit as the cover image; interiors in the morning, beds made and table set; the detail that sets the house apart — the view from the bath, the terrace at breakfast, the path to the beach. All in landscape for the platforms and in portrait for social.
Dusk & pool

What changes in a rental shoot
We deliver the images already in the right order for the platform: dusk cover, exterior, living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, details and surroundings. No curation left on your side.
We send a short list before the shoot — lights, towels, table, outdoors — so the house looks as the guest will find it. No furniture staging; just the house at its best.
A summer shoot and a winter refresh keep the listing current and the gallery aligned with the season on sale. Volume terms for managers with a portfolio.
We work with rental managers, owners and agencies in Sintra, Ericeira, Cascais, Estoril, Lisbon and Comporta. Shoots booked between check-out and check-in, one point of contact and files ready for Airbnb, Booking, Vrbo and your direct-booking site.
Light & logistics
A rental shoot fits inside a cleaning window: we arrive after check-out, shoot interiors in morning or early-afternoon light and, when there is an outdoor space, return at dusk. Short video for social and for the platform page on the same photo base.
Prices from €150 per house, before VAT, with travel included on the Sintra–Cascais–Lisbon axis and in Ericeira; Comporta on quote. Manager portfolios get −10% from 5 houses and −15% from 10. Delivery as a rule within the week of the shoot.

A complete gallery: cover at dusk or with the best view, exterior, living room, kitchen, every bedroom, every bathroom, details and surroundings — as a rule 25 to 40 images for a villa and 20 to 25 for an apartment. We deliver them already ordered.
Between a check-out and a check-in, usually in the morning. If the house has a pool or outdoor space, we return at dusk the same day or book a day without a reservation. We agree the window with the manager or the cleaning team.
We do not stage furniture. We send a short preparation list — lights on, towels, table set, outdoors tidy — and adjust small details on site. The house should appear as the guest will find it.
Yes. A short film of the house, in landscape for the platform and in portrait for Instagram, on the same photo shoot. In the Standard Foto e Vídeo and Full Production packages; or a film from photographs you already have.
